What PYE stands for?

The Parnasala Youth Excellence Awards (PYE) were established to honour exceptional young Indian achievers under the age of 40 who are shaping the future across diverse fields—ranging from the arts and literature to business and innovation.

The leadership at Aanathi Industries, creators of the Parnasala spice brand and the PYE Awards, firmly believes in the transformative power of youth—particularly in the realms of arts and innovation. These fields nurture critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills that are essential for navigating and influencing an ever-evolving world.

How are the winners chosen?

The PYE Awards committee does the work of identifying the talent, all through the year. Based on a qualification framework, the committee shortlists at least 5 people under each category. The shortlist is then shared with the jury.

The jury validates each entry and gives score against performance descriptors. The Head of the jury would then review the scores and finalise the list of awardees.

The awardees are duly intimated and upon their consent, the list is made public

Can I nominate someone for the award?
The concept of nominating someone is not a part of our process. Having said that, you may certainly refer someone for a category of award and our team would then take over. Please drop a message on pyeawards@parnasala.in
What are the various categories of awards?
Here are the categories.

When are the awardees intimated?
Our evaluation exercise would be complete by the last week of April and the awardees are intimated by the first/second week of May. Upon their consent, the public announcement is made by the last week of May.
When is the event conducted?
The award ceremony is conducted in the month of June, every year. The venue and time of event would be announced along with the list of winners.
